Scream 5 Fan Made Trailer and Scream 4 Review (2011)

Why Hello, I'm Dylan and welcome to Unnecessary 3D...your ultimate place for reviews, news and all types of related articles.

Today, I bring you my fan made Scream 5  Trailer (left). I gathered scenes from many  different movies  and TV series in which  include rumoured actors and actresses. These include: Cougar Town (Courtney Cox), Scary Movie (Anna Farris) and The Hitcher (Sophia Bush). I have lathered these scenes in together as a trailer for Scream 5....the long awaited....and still unconfirmed horror/mystery classic. The franchise has a very strong force of fans in which are demanding for a fifth instalment after Kevin Williamson (writer) and Wes Craven (director) released news of a Scream 5 and 6 for a complete new trilogy. Since then, we have had no news at all except for a few tweets from Wes and Kevin which leave us with hardly any information. Neve Campbell and David Arquette, the stars of the franchise, however have expressed interest in the film. I hope you enjoy my trailer...please leave feedback.

I also bring a review for the previous film Scream 4.

Scream 4

Director: Wes Craven
Writer: Kevin Williamson
Staring: Neve Campbell
Courtney Cox
David Arquette
Emma Roberts
Hayden Panettiere
Dimension Films and The Weinstein Company

Plot:
It's been ten years and Sidney Prescott is now on her last stop for her self-help book "Out of Darkness". She returns to Woodsborrow and reconnects with now Sherrif Dewey Riley and writer Gale Weathers-Riley who are now married. She also reconnects with her cousin Jill and her Aunt  Kate. However, she is also joined by an old friend....Ghostface who now puts all the residents of Woodsborrow in danger including Sidney, Gale, Dewey and Jill along with all her friends including Kirby Reed who now lives in Sidney's old house.

Review:
Waiting ten years to release the new instalment was a very smart move to do. It avoided making ghostface a cliché...they released it in perfect timing. Scream 4, just like the previous three films, has twists and turns through out....keeping you on the edge of your seats. The mysteriousness behind ghostface is still used very effectively....it's a very unpredictable choice.

The risk of trying to compete with the previous three amazing films worked off with them with it being as equally as thrilling. Having the movie based upon a new generation along with the main trio worked really well. It gave a complete different depth and felt as if it were the first of the new trilogy which was the original idea plotted by the mastermind of Kevin Williamson.

Hayden Panettiere's character, Kirby Reed, became a sensation and very popular even before the release....this would be because she reminds people of previous character Randy Meeks who appeared in the previous three films. She became a sensation. Many sources say if there were to be a Scream 5, despite the result of Scream 4, she would be a part of it in some way.

Between a diabolically funny and surprising start and an amazing climax, Scream 4 offers a wild journey along with a series of gory deaths. The movie is for all the old fans and reaches out to a whole new audience...especially ones who weren't old enough too see them the first time round.

I suggest, watch all four movies...who knows....we might finally get a Scream 5 in the next few years.

Rating:
The internet movie data base (IMDb) has a rate of 6.2 out of 10. I give it a rate of 8.8 out of 10.

Thanks for reading.

Dylan
