Dodgeball Sequel Has Been Announced

That's right! The 2004 film about a game usually used played in schools and dominated by jocks has now got a sequel in the works. The film pitted Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn against each other in a dodgeball tournament, but it seems that the sequel will have the Average Joe's and Globo Gym teams work together to take on a common threat.

Clay Tarver (writer of Joyride and Quantum Hoops) is already working on the script. It seems we'll have to wait a while to see it, with the script only being worked on now and only announced today, but we can wait, right? It has been almost 10 years since the first one, so it will come as a welcome surprise to fans.

I personally can't wait until it comes out. It's a great film that taught us very important life lessons, like "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."
